I keep coming back to this stone. Clear quartz with these fine black threads running through it — like something cracked open and the lightning got trapped inside before it could leave. I'm not the expert who's catalogued every needle pattern; I'm the one who can't stop picking these stones up.

A note on lab-created vs. natural: every piece in this collection right now is lab-created rutilated quartz — grown under controlled conditions specifically to produce that dense, dramatic rutile webbing you don't always get from mined stone. It's more consistent piece to piece, more durable, and more accessible to price than natural rough. I do work with natural rutilated quartz too, and a few of those pieces are coming soon — always labeled clearly, never blurred together, so you always know exactly what's on your skin.
