The Gift Guide
A gift that means something specific beats a gift that means generally nice. Every time.
So this guide isn't organised by what's on sale. It's organised by who she is and what she's living through — because the piece that lands is the one that says I was paying attention.
Pick a lane below. It takes about ninety seconds.

By Price
No judgment at any tier. The $28 bracelet with the right meaning outperforms the $200 one with none.
- Under $50 → Studs, stacking bracelets, pebble drops. The stocking-and-secret-Santa tier, and the biggest section in the shop.
- Under $75 → Where the pendants and sets start. The safe bet for someone you like a lot.
- Under $100 → Statement territory. Buy this one if you want her to gasp.

By Meaning
This is the one nobody else does, and it's the reason people save this page. You don't shop for a necklace — you shop for what she's actually in the middle of.
- Comfort → For the one who's had a long year and hasn't said so. Rose quartz — soft, pink, unmistakably kind.
- Courage → For the one about to do the hard thing. Tiger eye is the stone for women who are brilliant at giving and terrible at claiming.
- A New Chapter → New job, new city, new name, new life. Something to mark the line between before and after.
- Grief & Letting Go → Not a fix. A thing to hold on the days it's heavy — and a way of saying you remembered.
- Celebration → Milestones, moons, the thing she finally finished. Moon and star pieces made to mark a moment.
Want the full meaning-by-stone breakdown? The crystal properties guide lists what every stone is traditionally for.
By Birth Month
The easiest correct answer there is. You already know her month, and the stone does the personalising for you.
Shop birthstone jewelry by month →
Every month is stocked, from January garnet through December's blues. If you're buying for a December baby in December, order early — that month runs down fast.
Gifts That Give Back
A share of every Crystals & Paws piece goes to animal rescue. My two are rescues — Boo and Willow — which is the entire reason this collection exists rather than a marketing decision I made on purpose.
It's the gift for the person who genuinely doesn't want more things: she gets something small and meaningful, and a dog somewhere gets a better week.
As Seen On
Some of these pieces have been on television, which is a strange sentence to write about jewelry I assembled at my kitchen table in Calgary.
They make excellent gifts for exactly one reason: there's a story attached, and the story is true.
- The Vampire Diaries Garnet Moon Necklace — $125
- Lily Green Agate Necklace & Earrings Set — $135
- As Seen on BONES — “The Masks We Wear” — $250

Still Not Sure? Ask the Quiz.
Sixty seconds, six questions, no email wall. Answer as her rather than as yourself and it will land somewhere you wouldn't have thought of.
Two more, if you'd rather come at it sideways: the Spirit Animal Quiz or the Chakra Quiz.

Gift FAQ
Do you gift wrap?
Every piece already arrives in a satin bag, so it's giftable the second it lands on your doorstep. If you want it properly wrapped — box, paper, ready to hand over — add gift wrapping at checkout. I do it by hand, which means it looks handmade rather than machine-perfect. That's the trade.
What if she doesn't like it?
Then she sends it back. There's a 45-Day Happiness Guarantee on every order — no interrogation, no restocking fee. Gifts bought in November and December get the clock started from December 25 rather than the order date, so nobody's penalised for shopping early. Full terms in shipping & returns.
What if I get the necklace length wrong?
Most necklaces come with a choice of 41 cm / 16 in, 46 cm / 18 in or 51 cm / 20 in, selected on the product page. If you're guessing: 46 cm / 18 in sits just below the collarbone and suits almost everyone, which is why it's the default. Wrong one arrives? Exchange it. And if you want to know what each length actually does, here's the breakdown.
What about ring size?
Several of the rings are adjustable by design, which sidesteps the problem entirely — the Crystal Snake Ring among them. For fixed sizes, err one size up; a slightly loose ring is wearable and a tight one isn't.
Is any of this hypoallergenic?
A lot of it, yes — nickel-free and hypoallergenic earrings are noted on the individual product pages. If she has sensitive ears, filter to those and you're safe.
Can I include a note?
Yes — there's a notes field at checkout. Write the thing you'd never say out loud. That's usually the part she keeps.
Canadian small business, Calgary, Alberta, since 2008. Every order packed by a human who read your note.
