Zodiac Constellation Necklace$45
Flower of Life Necklace$25
Butterfly Studs$45
Paw Dangle Earrings$45
The best-selling pair of earrings I make is under fifty dollars. They were never meant to be the budget option. They're just the ones women keep coming back to the table for, year after year, until I stopped thinking of them as an entry point and started thinking of them as the thing I'm known for.
So I want to take the apology out of this whole price tier, because I hear it every November: I don't want her to think I went cheap.
She won't. Nobody assesses a gift by estimating what it cost. She assesses it by whether it fits — her colours, her hands, her life, the thing she said in June that she assumed you'd forgotten. A ring that's exactly her reads as attention. A pendant three times the price that isn't reads as a transaction with a bow on it.
Under fifty isn't a compromise shelf. It's where a lot of my best work lives.
If you'd rather browse every route at once, the gift guide has them all in one place. If not, the rest of this is how I'd choose — and if you'd rather just ask a person, keep reading to the bottom, because you can.
The one they keep buying
The Exquisite teardrop is my best-selling shape, and amethyst is my best-selling colour in it. If you only ever buy one thing from me, statistically speaking, it's this pair.
What makes it work is the frame — a fine rope edge around faceted glass, the kind of detail that usually shows up at four times the price and is the reason nobody who receives these ever asks what they cost. Purple is the safest bold colour there is. It suits nearly everyone, it reads as considered rather than loud, and it happens to be February's birthstone colour if that's her month.
Amethyst Exquisite Teardrop Earrings · $45 — gold or silver plated, and the pair I'd hand you if you had thirty seconds and no other information.
Glass & Light — made and shipped from my bench in Calgary
This is the part of the shop I'd point you at if you want the gift to be a bit unusual.
Glass & Light is faceted glass, cut and set by hand at my bench here in Calgary, and posted from the same room it was made in. Glass gets underestimated because people assume it means cheap. What it means is that light moves through it rather than bouncing off it — so it changes through the day in a way that opaque stone doesn't. Sapphire reads navy in a dim room and cobalt by a window. Dusk goes from smoke to soft violet.
Buying for more than one woman? Any three Glass & Light pieces are 15% off. Three women, one table, one order. Nobody feels ranked, and you're done before the coffee's cold.
The collection runs in named lines, and choosing a line is far easier than choosing a piece. These are the ones with the most behind them right now:
Selene · $45 — a soft-cornered kite hung point-up, so it sits like a small lit window at the base of the throat. Sapphire, capri, aqua, citrine or opalite. There are matching Selene earrings ($45) if you want the pair, and this is the deepest line I have going into the season.
Cleo · $45 — the faceted pyramid people have come back for since I first cut it, finally on a chain. Dusk, capri or emerald. The Cleo drop earrings ($35) in amethyst or emerald are the most-worn shape I make: long enough to move, short enough for a workday.
Elegant Pebble · $35 — smooth faceted drops, no points, no fuss. This is the line for someone whose taste you can't read. The smaller Petite Pebbles ($25) are the best value on the whole site.
Athena · $35 — longer glass drops in dusk, aqua, amethyst or emerald. The pair that gets noticed across a table.
Aurora · $35 — floating crystal stars and long crystal drops ($30). No symbolism, no month, no homework. Sometimes the right gift is just the pretty one.
Glass Jellyfish · $45 — a cascading bell pendant, and the piece people stop and pick up at the table. Very few of these exist at any one time.
These are made in small numbers, and that's the part worth knowing before December: I make what I can between orders and shows, and I don't restock a colour inside a season. If a shade she'd love is showing as available, that's the one to take.
Medallions — the most gift-proof thing I sell
A medallion is a small disc on a chain, and it solves nearly every gifting problem at once. No sizing. No stone knowledge required. It layers with whatever she already owns, and it reads as intentional without asking her to interpret anything over breakfast.
Maori Sacred Geometry Necklace · $45 — the old favourite. A spiral in gold or silver, and one of the longest-running pieces I've carried. If you want the best odds of it being worn weekly for the next five years, it's this one.
Winding Path Mini Medallion · $45 — the new favourite, and the one I keep reaching for myself. Pavé cubic zirconia on waterproof gold stainless steel, tracing a meandering line, which is the most accurate picture of a life I've managed to get onto a disc. Dainty enough to layer, bright enough to be the only thing she's wearing.
Floral Mini Medallion · $45 — same size, softer motif, one small crystal charm. The pretty one, for a woman who doesn't want a symbol explained to her.
Evil Eye & Third Eye Medallion · from $35 — choose which eye. Protection or intuition, gold or silver. A useful choice for a gift, because you already know which of the two she'd pick.
11:11 Angel Number Medallion · $33 — not a disc, but it belongs here. The most-gifted piece I have to women who'd tell you they aren't into jewellery.
How to buy medallions properly: two, not one. Different lengths, same metal. It costs less than ninety dollars and it looks like she styled it herself.
Build her a charm bracelet
This is the closest thing I have to a custom gift at this price, and it's the one I'd steer you toward if you want her to open something that exists nowhere else.
Start with a bracelet — any bracelet, a stone one or a beaded chain — and then add a charm to it for fifteen dollars on top of the bracelet price. I attach it myself before it ships, so it arrives as one finished piece rather than a bracelet and a bag of parts.
Eight charms, each in gold or silver plate:
- Moon — cycles, patience, the woman who tracks hers
- Tree of Life — roots and growth, for a year that changed her
- Third Eye — for the one who already knew and said nothing
- Evil Eye — protection, worn where she can see it
- Hamsa — protection with a softer edge; the travel one
- Lotus — coming up through the muck and blooming anyway
- Feather — lightness, and for some women, someone they've lost
- Dragonfly — transformation, and the one people react to hardest
How I'd build one. Pick the stone for her chapter and the charm for her person. A rose quartz bracelet with a feather charm, for the friend who lost her mum this year. Citrine with a dragonfly, for the one who left the job. Labradorite with a third eye, for the one who's always right. Under sixty dollars, and it looks like it took you a month.
Browse the bracelets a charm can go on and pick your base first — the charm decision is the easy half.
New this season
These landed in the last few months. Small runs, most of them — which is the trade-off for new.
Tree of Life with a crystal halo · necklace $45, drops $39 or studs $35 — so you can build a two-piece from one motif without it looking like a matching set.
Dragonfly Leverback Earrings · $39 — crystal wings, with hand-painted resin studs ($45) alongside them. For the woman mid-way through a transformation year, and for anyone who has a thing about dragonflies. A surprising number of women do.
Flower of Life Earrings · $28 — sacred geometry hoops and drops in waterproof stainless. New, and one of the few new pieces with real depth behind it. Buy this one without checking the clock.
Flower of Life Bracelet · $25 — same symbol, charm format, waterproof, stacks with anything. If you're buying for four women and want the whole list done in five minutes, buy four of these in mixed metals.
Natural Citrine Stretch Bracelet · $42 — genuine citrine, November's stone, warm yellow. Worn as a reminder to back herself out loud.
If she's a stone person
Same tier, different door. These are for the woman who already knows her sun sign and has opinions about which stone belongs on which wrist.
Labradorite Faceted Bracelet · $45 — grey-blue with a flash of teal when she turns her hand. A third eye stone, worn as a reminder to trust her own read on a situation rather than taking a vote.
Labradorite Third Eye Bracelet · $35 — the beaded version, new this year, and it stacks with the faceted one.
Beaded Chakra Choker · $45 — malachite, onyx, tiger's eye, turquoise or mixed, with a gold beaded centrepiece. Sits exactly where a choker should sit, which is harder to get right than it sounds.
Tiger's Eye Fish Necklace · $45 — for confidence, and for the woman who reads the current instead of fighting it.
When you want it to have her name on it
Not literally. Her month, her sign, her number, her animal — something that could only have been bought for her. This is the category that does the emotional work, and it's the easiest to get right because the research phase is one question long.
Zodiac Constellation Necklace · $45 — her sign on a slim bead chain, waterproof, built for layering. Ask her sign or count backwards from her birthday; either works.
Crescent Moon Necklace · $45 — minimal, waterproof, gold. The one that survives dishes, garden and ocean without a conversation about it.
Butterfly Stud Earrings · $45 — sterling silver, for the woman mid-way through becoming something. She'll know why you picked them.
Buying for a dog person
You know immediately whether this is her. There is no ambiguity with dog people.
Sterling Silver Paw Dangle Earrings · $45 — small, leverback, everyday. Paw Charm Bracelet · $35, if she'd rather wear it where she can see it.
25% of net proceeds from every marked Crystals & Paws piece goes to animal rescue — that collection only, and every piece in it is marked. Mine are rescues — Boo and Willow — which is why that collection exists at all rather than being a marketing idea I had. The full guide for dog, cat and every other kind of animal person is gifts for animal lovers.
How it arrives
Every piece ships in a satin pouch, no extra charge. Want the full unwrap moment? Add the celestial gift box — one box covers the whole order. Want a note? Leave your message in the order notes and I'll handwrite it on the back of a decorated art card. You bring the words, I bring the penmanship.
Holiday returns: gifts can be returned until January 14.
Choosing when you don't know her taste
Buy her month, her sign or her number. Personal without requiring you to know a thing about her style.
Waterproof stainless steel is close to universal. Gold or silver, suits everyone, survives daily wear and the shower she'll forget to take it off for.
Necklaces and earrings beat rings. Rings are the best value in this tier and the worst to guess. Adjustable and stainless styles solve it; anything sized, buy in January when she can try it on.
Buying for several women? Same piece, different colours. It reads as considered rather than bulk-bought, nobody feels ranked, and you clear the whole list in one order. In Glass & Light, any three are 15% off.
What not to do
Don't apologise while she's opening it. If you say "it's only little," you've told her what to think about it. Hand it over and say nothing, or say what it means. Both work. The apology doesn't.
Don't make her interpret three symbols at once. One meaningful piece is a gift. Three is a quiz before breakfast.
Don't assume the new things will wait. The waterproof steel pieces will still be there on the twentieth. The bench glass and the newest medallions are made in tens, and every January someone emails me about the one they were going to come back for.
The note is half the gift
Write the thing you'd never say out loud. You were right about the job. I still think about that drive. Thank you for calling every Sunday.
That's the part she keeps in the drawer long after the box is gone. There's a notes field at checkout, and I read every one before I pack.
Still stuck? Ask me.
I'm a real person, not a support queue. If you're standing in front of two options and can't decide, or you know one specific thing about her and nothing else, send me that one thing — andrea@mysticsouljewelry.com, or message me here. I answer them myself, usually the same day, and I've talked plenty of people out of the more expensive option when it wasn't the right one.
Tell me who she is and what kind of year she's had. That's enough to go on.
Or if you'd rather not talk to anyone at all, which I completely understand: the Gemstone Quiz takes about a minute. Answer as her — it usually lands somewhere you wouldn't have gone.
Or come at it sideways with the Chakra Quiz — same idea, different door.
Buying for a friend or a colleague with a bit more room? That's meaningful gifts under $75. For family, meaningful gifts under $100. Everything else — by recipient, by meaning, by month — lives on the gift guide, which is where the December order-by dates will be posted.

FAQ
Is a gift under $50 too cheap for a close friend?
Not if it fits her. My best-selling earrings sit in this tier, and they've been handed to mothers, sisters and best friends for years without anyone flinching. The effort shows in the choosing, not the spending.
How does adding a charm work?
Pick any bracelet, then add a charm for fifteen dollars on top of the bracelet price. Choose the motif and the metal, gold or silver plate, and I attach it myself before it ships. It arrives as one finished piece.
Is there a deal if I buy for several people?
Yes. Any three pieces from Glass & Light are 15% off. Bracelets are buy two, get one free — applicable bracelets are in this collection.
Can I ask for help choosing?
Yes, and people do it constantly. Email andrea@mysticsouljewelry.com or message me with whatever you know about her — her month, her colours, the year she's had — and I'll give you two or three options. It's me answering, not a chatbot or a team.
What's a good gift for a woman who has everything?
Something she wouldn't buy herself but will wear weekly. Her sign, her month, her colour — rather than hunting for a gap in what she already owns. A bracelet with a charm added also works here, because it isn't a thing she can find anywhere else.
Which pieces are made by you?
Everything in the Glass & Light collection — Selene, Cleo, Athena, the Pebbles, Aurora, the Exquisite teardrops and the jellyfish. Those are cut, set, packed and posted by me in Calgary. The waterproof steel symbol pieces aren't made at my bench, which is how I keep that tier at twenty-five dollars.
How do I pick jewellery for someone whose taste I don't know?
Her month or her sign. Birthstone and zodiac pieces are personal without requiring you to read her style. Failing that, waterproof stainless steel in gold or silver suits almost everyone.
Can I buy the same piece for several people?
Yes, and it's the easiest way through a long list. One style in different colours or stones reads as considered rather than bulk-bought, and nobody ends up feeling ranked.
What if I get the ring size wrong?
Adjustable and stainless-steel styles avoid the problem entirely. For anything sized, it's worth waiting until she can try it on rather than guessing at Christmas.
What if she doesn't like it?
She sends it back. 45-Day Happiness Guarantee: 45 days from delivery, unworn, with its packaging — and holiday gifts can be returned until January 14. Sale items and custom or made-to-order pieces are final sale.
Does it arrive ready to give?
Yes. Every piece ships in a satin pouch at no extra charge. The celestial gift box is an add-on, one box per order, and a handwritten note on a decorated art card is free — just leave your message in the order notes.
