In Tibetan practice, a prayer wheel holds a written mantra inside it, and turning the wheel counts the same as speaking the words aloud. This one is decorative — the wheel doesn't turn. What it carries is the shape of that idea: the words are already in there, already said, and nothing further is being asked of you today.

Sterling silver, plated in 22k gold, chased and assembled by hand. I bought these over twelve years ago and they have been in my studio ever since. Sometimes it takes a while to be able to release something.
