Prayer Wheel Spinner Ring | Gold Plated
In stock
This is the ring from my blog. The one I turned for hours, day after day, until the little bead on the side flew off.
In 2020 I sat in a children's hospital room with my son and no words left. What I had was this ring. I turned it, and kept turning it, because that is what a prayer wheel is built for: the mantra is already inside, so your job isn't to find the sentence. Your job is to turn.
A Tibetan prayer wheel carries a mantra — most often om mani padme hum, the mantra of compassion — and turning it clockwise is held to be the same as saying it. This ring puts that wheel on your hand: a gold-plated band that spins under your thumb, with a bead on the side to keep it moving.
Wear It With Respect
A prayer wheel belongs to Tibetan Buddhism, a living tradition. Turn it clockwise, know what it carries, and you're wearing it the way it's meant. The full story is in my prayer wheel meaning guide.

Care
Gold plate wants a soft, dry cloth rather than a dip. Take it off for hand-washing and swims and it will keep turning for you. More in my jewellery cleaning guide.
