This is ruby red hydro quartz — lab-grown hydrothermal quartz, not mined ruby. It's real quartz, grown rather than dug, chosen for the thing natural ruby rarely does: a clean, even red all the way through. That also means the necklace and earrings match exactly. Priced honestly for what it is. I carry natural ruby too, and I always tell you which is which.
