Peacock Ombré is my name for this stone — custom color-treated hydro quartz, named for the way it shifts purple into green like a peacock's feather caught in the light. It's lab-grown quartz given a permanent ombré finish (not natural aura quartz, which I also carry). Bright, clear, and not like anything else you own.

How to store it (where most damage is actually prevented)
- Sterling silver: airtight — a zip bag or a box with an anti-tarnish strip. Air is what darkens it.
- Gold-plated & faceted glass: a soft pouch each, stored separately so harder pieces don't scratch the finish.
- Pearls: laid flat, never hung — the silk thread stretches over time.
- Necklaces: hung or laid flat so chains don't knot.

Traveling with jewelry
