An open hand, held up. Not a warning — an offer.

What It Carries

🪬 The Hamsa

The hamsa is one of the oldest protective symbols in circulation, worn across North Africa and the Middle East long before anyone agreed on what to call it. An open palm, usually with an eye at its centre — the hand that turns harm away and the eye that sees it coming. Worn upward it invites in; worn downward it sends out. Both are correct, and nobody has ever settled the argument.

✨ Choose Your Medallion

Five designs, all gold plated, in a range of sizes. Same symbol, a different temper on each one — pick the hand that suits the week you're having.

  • Large Gold Plated — the statement one. 18 mm hamsa, 22 mm total drop, 14 mm wide.
  • Medium Crystal — the everyday. 16 mm hamsa with a crystal centre, 20 mm total drop, 10 mm wide.
  • Mini Crystal — the quiet one. 12 mm hamsa with a crystal centre, 20 mm total drop, 12 mm wide.
  • Mini Hammered with Eye — texture and a watching eye. 15 mm hammered hamsa, 22 mm total drop, 10 mm wide.
  • Rectangular — the tablet. 25 mm panel, 30 mm total drop, 18 mm wide. The most architectural of the five.

Why You'll Love It

  • Five medallion designs — choose the disc, not just the chain.
  • Choose your chain length when you order — 16, 18 or 20 inches.
  • Layers cleanly under a longer pendant.

Wear It Your Way

Alone when you want one clean line, or layered so the hand sits high and something longer does the drop. It reads as jewellery first and symbol second, which is usually the right order.

Care

Plated pieces keep their colour longest away from perfume, chlorine and sleep. A soft dry cloth is all they ask. The rest is in the Complete Jewelry Care Guide.
