This is the one that goes in the suitcase. Pale aqua against a tan, a linen shirt, salt in your hair — it belongs to warm weather in a way none of my other colours quite manage.
Clear as shallow water over sand. It's the colour I reach for when I want to feel like I've exhaled: calm, unhurried, quietly sure of myself.
Why I Called It Exquisite
Because of the frame. Not a plain bezel — a textured rope edge worked all the way around the glass. On a pale stone that outline matters more than you'd think: it defines the shape against skin and gives the light an edge to catch, so the pendant stays crisp instead of disappearing into a summer tan.
Choosing Your Length
- 16 inch — at the throat. Best with open collars and sundresses, where the pendant sits on skin.
- 18 inch — collarbone. The everyday choice, and the one to pick if you're unsure.
- 20 inch — just below. Good over linen shirts and light knits, and it layers cleanly under a shorter chain.
