Why I Called It Exquisite
The frame. Not a plain bezel — a textured rope edge worked all the way around the glass, so light catches on the metal as well as the stone. It's a small detail that does a lot of work: at conversational distance it reads like a proper gemstone setting rather than a glass bead on a chain.
